Sunflower
Positive thoughts are the seeds
Negative thoughts are the weeds
Choose which ones you'd like to grow
Be mindful of the ones you sow
Cultivate with water and light
Nourish them before they come into sight
A beautiful sunflower starts to appear
Growing through love, not of fear
Now in bloom for all to see
Standing tall as big as a tree
Eventually it'll wither and die
Facing the ground and not the sky
Leaving behind another seed
Another seed for you to feed
What will it become? A weed or flower?
That's up to you, it's in your power
To choose if thoughts become flowers or weeds
Which one will scupper or support your needs?
Look after your thoughts, thoughts become things
Either pulling you down or giving you wings!
